Coastside Child Development Center provides early education and support services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. With 40 years of experience, Coastside Child Development Center provides early education and support services. All teachers are required to complete Early Childhood Education and Child Development college-level courses, and all lead teachers have a California Department of Education teacher’s permit. Teaching staff include aides and teachers up to those who have completed a bachelor’s degree. Coastside Child Development Center conducts in-house training that includes all areas of child development, behavioral management and support, kindergarten readiness standards, and CPR certification.
The administrator is Karen Corzine, MFT, LPCC, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (MFC48922/LPC92), who serves as Executive Director and Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician and has been a director at Coastside Child Development Center since 2000. The mission of Coastside Child Development Center is to provide opportunity and minimize vulnerability in every child served, to offer an environment in which children can develop to their maximum potential, and to give all families access to services regardless of background or income.
